VOLUNTEERS WISHED HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO SAKHALINERS

The action was held Kristall Ice Palace, where hundreds of islanders watch the figure skaters’ performances for 2 days. Volunteers gave Sakhalin residents hundreds of valentines.

— We spent a few hours making Valentines. They’re not just hearts. We still wrote on them a declaration of love in three languages and different compliments. I wanted to give Sakhaliners love and warmth — says volunteer Daria BALANOVA.

A small but friendly team of volunteers could make more than 200 spectators happy. I would like to note that there were not only figure skating fans before Kristall Ice Palace , but also families and even school classes.

— I came for the first time to the competitions, as the accompanying children from four schools of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. And they themselves took the initiative and said that they really want to attend such a large-scale event. We are cold a little bit, but we are not afraid of the Sakhalin frosts, – said Ekaterina KHOLINA.

Besides valentines, residents were pleased with the music and live figures inside, with which everyone could take a photo.
